When was DPS founded?

DPS started up in 2005. Stephan Drake, alongside Swiss partner, Cyrille Boinay, founded DB (Drake Boinay) skis in 2003. Working out of Switzerland, DB was the first to introduce the word and concept of Rocker of the ski industry. At the same time, in Colorado, future DPS engineer Peter Turner was working with Shane McConkey to develop the Volant Spatula. After DB broke up due to issues with its manufacturing, Stephan and Peter joined forces in 2005 to form DPS, and usher in a new era of progressive shaping and ultra high tech construction.
