 Job Title: Global Sales Director

 

Job Description

As the Global Sales Director (GSD), your mission is to cultivate and expand our diverse global sales network, leveraging over 300 esteemed dealers and distributors worldwide. You will devise and execute a dynamic global growth strategy, emphasizing the full spectrum of product offerings across multiple channels. Your responsibilities include establishing key account relationships, overseeing international distributor partnerships, and driving revenue and profit targets by country and channel. You will ensure exceptional customer support, uphold the company's values, and lead our global sales team to success.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop a comprehensive multi-channel global sales strategy to drive brand strength, growth objectives, and margin discipline.
  • Champion key account relationships and strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Direct all international distributor partners while exploring and creating new partnership opportunities.
  • Oversee technical and customer service aspects for all sales channels.
  • Develop annual and monthly sales budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Manage the P/L for the sales department, directing pricing and commercial terms for all sales channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop co-op marketing programs, tradeshow/events, and merchandising programs.
  • Develop measurable performance standards and manage the in-house sales team.
  • Participate as an integral member of the company leadership team.
  • Manage and staff customer satisfaction experience for all sales channels.
  • Lead the global dealer sales staff through Company objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Passionate skier/rider with extensive mountain experience and knowledge of the sport and company’s core demographic.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum five years of multi-channel sales management experience.
  • Proficiency in international sales management, including distribution, regional customs, and foreign currency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Confident leadership and communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Adaptability to changing conditions and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to achieving organizational goals and objectives.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Effective multitasking with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness.
  • Diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion in customer interactions.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and flexibility.

What You Will Experience:

  • Extensive travel, both domestic and international, including car, train, and/or airline travel as needed.
  • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends during peak seasonal periods.
  • Ability to occasionally move objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Regular use of computer, telephone, and repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movement.

 Job Title: Various Production and Ski Technician Openings

Type of Position:  Full-Time (32-40 hours/week)

General Description of Duties

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, DPS designs, manufactures and sells the world’s most advanced skis. We are looking for motivated individuals who are comfortable working with a small team in a demanding manufacturing environment where the highest level to attention and detail is required. A ski or snowboard enthusiast is a plus, as is a background in composites. Additionally, the successful candidate should be extremely detail-oriented with a strong desire to do their job perfectly. Must be able to lift 30 pounds from floor-to-table height on a regular basis and strive for constant improvement within yourself and the team. Ability to read and write in English is necessary. The anticipated and current work schedule is a four-day work week. DPS offers competitive wage and benefit packages.
