Meet the Koalas

The DPS pro team – affectionately referred to as Koalas – are fun-loving, hard-charging skiers.
If spotted in the wild, approach them with a smile and a kind greeting;
they will respond in a friendly manner and likely show you the best parts of their native habitat.

A lover of powder and big tricks, Santiago Guzman (@santi_guzman) was born in Bariloche, Argentina. As the son of ski instructors, he learned to ski before the age of three. During a visit to Mt. Baker a number of years ago, his fondness for the deep was solidified during a monumental storm event. Since then, he can be found chasing powder around the globe when he’s not coaching Argentina’s Freeski Team...or enjoying a cold one at Fresco Bar, his brewpub in El Chaltén.

Well-known for his smooth style and massive airs, Dash (@dash_longe) combines his passion for snow and creativity whenever he clicks into his skis. Beyond the major film parts he has logged for Teton Gravity Research, Eric Iberg, Warren Miller, and DPS Cinematic over the last two decades, his creativity overflows into graphic design, product development, music, and just about everything else he does. As a father of two young girls and a partner in a successful real estate sales team, Salt Lake City, Utah provides Dash the perfect balance of skiing, family, and work life.

Madison Rose (@madisonnnrose), well-known for her powerful ski style and endless on-and-off snow energy, is a product of Michigan’s ski racing circuit. When she’s not laying trenches through the blower pow of her adopted Wasatch Mountains, Madison can be found searching for new experiences as she chases storms...or fresh corduroy and sunshine. Recent appearances in the photo annuals of both Powder and Backcountry magazine are verification that this rising star is burning brighter than ever.

Born and raised in the Swiss Alps, Piers (@pierssolomon) is a magical mix of youthful exuberance and ‘old soul’ wisdom. Distinctive, stylish, mystical; all are apt descriptors of Piers – not only as a skier, but also as an individual. Featured in countless print and online publications, images of his timeless, floaty style are simply unavoidable. This year alone, he’s made the cover of SKI magazine and Norway's Fri Flyt, and has graced the pages of numerous other magazines. As a veteran of DPS Cinematic films, Piers’ adeptness at slashing, spinning, and straight-lining the world’s most storied ski locales has been thoroughly documented.
